White and Black Cookie Bars

This recipe is for one of my son's Kindergarten teachers, Mrs. Lang. I hope she will make them for her family or maybe her next group of students. We love you, Mrs. Lang!

Ingredients
2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 c. (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chip morsels
1 c. white chocolate chip morsels

Directions
Preheat oven to 350° F. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels. Grease 15 x 10-inch jelly-roll pan. Spread into prepared pan. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes or until golden brown. Cool in pan on wire rack. Makes 4 dozen bars.
