Save money by making your own cinnamon sugar mix. Simply mix 1/2 cup of granulated sugar with 1 tablespoon of cinnamon. Add to a spice jar and gently shake to mix. I saved the spice jar shaker from cinnamon sugar I purchased from the store. Now I always have my cinnamon sugar handy and I save money.

Tip of the day - when making hard shell tacos for the family, turn your cupcake pan upside down and place the shells between the cupcake wells to hold the tacos up while you fill them with meat, lettuce, cheese, etc. I make them up at the stove and carry the entire tray to the table. No more tacos falling over.

Tip of the day - buy your meat & poultry in bulk. Most stores offer a discount when you buy "family pack". You can break up the pack & freeze. Examples: freeze ground meat in one pound packages (invest in a small kitchen scale). For chicken breasts, freeze each one separately so you only take out what you need. Don't forget to label & date. Always remember first in...first out.
