Caramel Corn in a Bag

My friend from high school, Rebecca, made this on Friday & shared it with me. I cannot wait to try it.

2 microwave bags of popcorn or 2 large bowls popped popcorn
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. light Karo syrup
1 c. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Place popped corn in a brown paper grocery bag. It should come up to the first fold. Put sugar, syrup, and butter in microwaveable dish and cook 2 minutes on high. Stir then cook 1 more minute on high. Add vanilla and baking soda, whip until frothy. Pour over popcorn in the bag. Seal bag top by rolling down the top. Microwave on high for 30 seconds. Shake the bag. Repeat 30 more seconds 2 to 3 more times, shaking the bag in between until popcorn is well coated. Put popcorn into bowls.
