I have been thinking about mashed potatoes for some reason. There are lots of different seasonings & other things you can put in them. One thing I do not like in my potatoes are the skins (especially when you get them in a restaurant - you just don't know if they washed those potatoes). One thing I love to put in potatoes is a little sour cream - they taste so yummy. So I would probably say that I like a creamed potatoes the best. My Aunt Nona used to put a little mayonnaise in her potatoes. How do you make your potatoes? My simple recipe is listed below. I will also post another one that I modified from Paula Deen.
Milk (I have no measurement- just add until I get the right creamy consistency)
1/2 c. butter
Salt & pepper
1/4 c. sour cream
Using an electric mixer, whip all ingredients until creamy consistency is reached.
