Peanut Butter Crispy Bars
After taking the first bite I knew immediately these cookie bars should be made illegal in all 50 states! I am not kidding you. They tasted so good that I wanted to eat the entire pan. I (reluctantly - lol) took them to church for our small group. Every single person literally wanted to faint after they took the first bite. They are the best tasting cookie bar I have ever ate.
Ingredients
1 tube (16-1/2 ounces) refrigerated peanut butter cookie dough
4 c miniature marshmallows
2 c (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 c creamy peanut butter
1/4 c butter, cubed
2 c crisp rice cereal
1/2 cup salted peanuts (I omitted the peanuts from mine)
Directions
Press cookie dough into an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan. Bake at 350° for 10-14 minutes or until edges are lightly browned and center is set. Sprinkle with marshmallows; bake 4-5 minutes longer or just until marshmallows are puffed. Cool for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine the chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter. Cook and stir until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Remove from the heat; stir in cereal and peanuts. Drop by spoonfuls over top; gently spread over marshmallows. Cool and cut into bars (TIP: Once they were cool to the touch, I put the entire pan in the refrigerator so the chocolate got hard. Then I cut them while they were still cold. I found this to be much easier since I live in the south & it is so hot & humid.)

I made these yesterday and took them to my small group, EVERYONE loved them. I've never gotten a bigger response about something I made.
