Orange Teriyaki Pork Chops

Many years ago I attended some cooking classes & this was one of my favorite recipes. Pair it with Savory Mushroom Pilaf (click for recipe).

5 pork chops, center cut
1/2 c soy sauce
1/2 c orange juice
1/2 c water
4 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp garlic, minced
1/4 c green onions, chopped
2 tbsp water
1 tbsp cornstarch

Combine soy sauce, orange juice, water, brown sugar, garlic & green onions. Place chops in marinade & marinate for a minimum of 1 hour. Grill pork chops until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees. While chops are cooking, boil marinade for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, combine 2 tbsp cold water & cornstarch. Add mixture to marinade & stir until thickened. Serve chops with sauce.
